September 10 2022
In 2021, the Summerland Fall Fair Society and the Summerland Museum and Archives invited residents to submit photos and captions showing off things they had grown, sewn, baked, built, crafted or otherwise brought into creation during the pandemic.
In addition to posting the submissions here on the website everything was compiled and published as a book documenting this moment in our town's history.
Copies of the book can viewed in person at the Summerland Museum, Art Gallery or Summerland Library.
Printed books will be available. Please order by May 1 2022.
Books are $30 each.

The Summerland Fall Fair is the co-recipient of the 2019 Exhibit Achievement
Award recently presented by the BC Association of Agricultural Fairs and
Exhibitions for featuring the 'buy BC’ logo at last September's fair. The
award consists of a plaque and $1000 shared equally with co-recipient Sooke
Fall Fair. The plaque is held by board member President Thomas Tumbach flanked by board members Bobby Bovenvi, Glenda Reid, Donna Savoie and Denise MacDonald in the above photograph.
Thank you to the District of Summerland.
